GARMENT CARE
How to care for your cashmere & wool clothing and lingerie.
Contrary to popular belief cashmere and merino wool clothing and lingerie can be hand washed.
Follow these simple instruction on how to care for your cashmere and wool garments, so that your favourite pieces last longer and look fabulous.
Your unique Econica wool garment was created with love and should be cared for with love, too. Washing your wool and cashmere properly actually helps to preserve the fibres and natural lanolin.
CARE STEPS:
To hand-wash, add two capfuls or a squirt of your favourite Wool & Cashmere detergent (we recommend Eucalan) to a wash basin or sink filled with cool water. Submerge your items and gently agitate them with your hands to evenly distribute soap and water. Soak for up to 30 minutes. Run cool water through items until rinse water is no longer soapy. Do not wring, which causes distortion. Instead, gently press the water out of your items between your hands or against the sink.
Lay the items flat in their natural shape on a drying rack or clean towel. When drying, avoid direct sunlight and heat sources, such as the radiator, because they can shrink or damage wool. Never hang wet wool as it will cause stretching and distortion.
Bamboo, Hemp & Organic cotton Clothing Care.
CARE STEPS:
Natural Fibre Clothing, such as Organic Cotton, Linen or Hemp will maintain their special qualities when washed in cold to warm water (up to 40 degrees Celsius) with a gentle detergent, free of bleach. Natural fabrics such as organic cotton and bamboo blends can be dried in a clothes dryer on the cool/warm setting, never hot.
Silk Garment Care.
Silk is a delicate fabric and should be handled with care.
However, it is fairly easy to clean. It has a natural tendency to release dirt quickly and it can be gently hand-washed to keep its’ quality and lustre.
CARE STEPS:
Hand wash separately in cool water with mild soap.Do not soak, twist or wring.
Blot dry with a towel and drip dry in shade.

At Econica Studio, we are dedicated to providing exceptional custom-made and ready-to-ship clothing and lingerie. To ensure our services align with your expectations, kindly review the following policies before placing an order.
Processing Time, Exchanges & Alterations
Our current processing time for custom-made orders is 4-6 weeks, plus shipping time. Ready-to-ship items ship within 6-10 business days, depending on holidays and studio workload. We offer basic alterations such as hemming, but not in-depth tailoring like taking in or design changes. For extensive alterations, we recommend seeking a local tailor. Please consult our Size Chart before placing an order, as we cannot make garments bigger or add length later.
Special Request Garments, Intimates, Sale Items, Hand-dyed, Altered, and Garments purchased with Store Credit are not eligible for exchange. We reserve the right to refuse future sales if our exchange policy is abused. No more than 3 garments can be exchanged within 360 days.
Due to the discounted nature of Clearance Items, we cannot process store credit exchanges for these products. If your Clearance Item has not shipped yet, we can cancel it for a refund. Once shipped, it becomes a final sale. If unsure about a purchase, please contact us for assistance.
Custom-Made & Made-to-Measure Garments:
We're committed to creating clothes just for you! Because of their unique nature, items labeled as "custom-made" or "made-to-measure" are considered final sales. However, we want everything to fit you perfectly. So, if your garment needs a tweak, remember we offer free alterations. Just reach out to us for the details. While these pieces can't be exchanged or refunded, your satisfaction is our priority. Thanks for joining us in our journey towards mindful consumption and environmental sustainability. Our made-to-order approach is a key part of this commitment.

Ready-to-Ship Garments:
Found something you love in our "ready-to-ship" collection? Great news! If for any reason you're not completely satisfied, and the item isn't marked as "Clearance or final sale," you can return it for a refund or store credit within 30 days of receiving it. Please note that panties, face masks, and any sets that include panties are considered final sale and can't be returned or exchanged. Please make sure the garment is in its original, unworn condition, and free from any smoke traces. We'll give it a quick check at the post office. If it doesn't meet our criteria, we won't be able to accept it, so please contact us first for your return authorization number and shipping instructions. Just a heads-up, the cost of return shipping is on you. A 10% restocking fee and the original shipping cost will be deducted from the returns to cover processing costs.
Price Adjustment.
To ensure fairness and consistency, we adhere to a strict policy that allows price adjustments only within 24 hours of purchase or before the order has been shipped. This applies to all orders, regardless of their size or timing with no exceptions.
Our Quality Promise:
We take pride in the quality of our garments, and your satisfaction is our top priority. If, by chance, you encounter a flaw, receive an incorrect item, or something's just not right with your order, please accept our sincere apologies. We're here to make it right. Just fill out our Returns/Alterations Request Form within 14 days of receiving your item, and we'll jump into action to fix or replace your garment. It's important that the item remains unworn and unwashed so we can handle the issue effectively.

We strive to accurately represent our products, but please keep in mind that we can't guarantee that you'll look exactly like our models or that every aspect of the garment (like length, fit, or color) will match your expectations perfectly. We reserve the right to substitute the elastics we use with our lingerie garments to those currently in stock. However, our goal is always to delight you with our designs so if you have a specific color or pattern in mind and do not wish to substitute - please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your request!
Important Notes:
- Timeliness is Key: Please submit your requests within 14 days of confirming your delivery. We also ask that all items be dispatched back to us within one month of receiving your confirmation of approval for a return. Please note that if you wish to cancel your custom-made order, you must do so within 2 business days. After this period, all sales become final, as we will have already begun the creation of your garment and cannot reverse the process. It is crucial to adhere to this timeframe, as we cannot grant or honor return requests outside this period. This policy helps us manage our inventory effectively, ensures financial predictability, and reduces the costs associated with processing returns. It also helps maintain the quality and value of our products, ensuring that they remain in a new condition. Thank you for understanding and helping us continue to provide quality service and products.
- Condition of Return: Items must be in their original, unworn, and unwashed condition. We'll give them a thorough check upon return.
- Shipping and Fees: While we can't refund outgoing shipping charges, please be aware that you will also be responsible for any customs and import fees. A 10% restocking fee will be applied to returns to cover processing costs.

WHEN WILL YOUR CUSTOM ORDER ARRIVE?
Custom orders require a significant amount of time to ensure the highest quality and craftsmanship. The entire process, from order placement to delivery, typically takes between 2.5 to 3 months. This includes a turnaround time of up to 6 weeks for production, followed by a delivery time of approximately 25 business days. We kindly ask our customers to plan accordingly and not to expect their orders to arrive sooner than this estimated timeframe. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to create something special just for you.
Apart of products marked as "ready-to-ship", all Econica Apparel Collection items are custom-made. Once an order is placed, we will create your item based on your size/measurements and color choice. Please allow 6 weeks (possibly longer during busy holiday periods) for your custom and made-to-order item to be completed. Please note that our fabric color options vary in weight. To guarantee that your selection meets your expectations, we strongly recommend requesting a fabric swatch kit before placing your order. This proactive approach will enable you to make an informed choice, ensuring the utmost satisfaction with your purchase. If you’re looking for a specific fabric style, feel free to reach out before placing your order! We typically use a zigzag finishing stitch on most of our custom work (not all). If you prefer a flat stitch, please let us know before you order.
Our Ready-made Collection
Items marked as “ready-to-ship” are pre-made and cannot be altered or customized. Please allow 10 business days for processing and dispatching orders for ready-to-ship items.
Please note: Once your order is placed, we are unable to change the color, size, or pattern of the item. However, if your item is eligible for exchange, you may return it for an exchange once it arrives.
Shipping Notification and Delivery Estimates
Following the dispatch of your order, you will receive a shipping confirmation email. The estimated delivery period ranges from 2 to 4 weeks or longer, contingent on the customs procedures of each destination country and the chosen shipping method. The transit time for Standard Economy shipping is typically up to 25 business days, while Express shipping generally takes 8 to 12 business days, depending on the destination. Please be aware that we cannot assure on-time delivery. The provided delivery estimates are intended as a general guide and may be affected by factors such as customs processing, postal service workload, and holidays. We value your patience and understanding as we endeavor to deliver your package in a safe and timely manner.
